Netflix Brazil raised prices on 15 October 2026. That is not the US price.

Quick verdict

If you pay Netflix in Brazil, read the next charge date in the account. If you pay elsewhere, do not copy these reais.

Quick answer

On 15 October 2026 Netflix Brazil moved to R$25.90 with ads, R$51.90 Standard, and R$71.90 Premium. Your country's price is the one inside your Netflix account, not this Brazil table.

On 15 October 2026 Netflix raised all three Brazil plans. G1 reported the figures the same day: Standard with ads from R$20.90 to R$25.90, Standard from R$44.90 to R$51.90, and Premium from R$59.90 to R$71.90. The public Brazil homepage, read on 29 October, says plans run from R$25.90 to R$71.90. That range is a Brazil price. It is not the United States price, not a Mexican peso price, and not a number you should paste into a budget in another currency.

Current subscribers are not all billed the new rate on 15 October. Netflix said it emails about a month before the first higher charge. The date that matters is in the account's payment history. If Netflix arrives inside a phone-carrier bundle, the carrier sends the notice and the price can differ. Open the email on the account before you cancel on the strength of a headline.

The ad-supported plan took the largest percent jump, about 24%, and still means Full HD, two screens, and some titles locked. Standard at R$51.90 drops the ads on the regular catalog and keeps two screens. Premium at R$71.90 is four screens and 4K where the title and the TV allow it. Live events can carry ads on every plan. The old Basic plan is not coming back. Twelve Premium months are R$862.80. Netflix bills monthly. A "Black Friday annual Netflix" offer is not this price list. Black Friday 2026 is 27 November and does not rewrite 15 October.

For a household, count screens that are on at the same time. One person on a phone does not need Premium. Four people, or a TV that actually plays 4K, might. An extra member who does not live with you is a separate charge. October write-ups of the help center mentioned roughly R$11.90 with ads and R$14.90 without. Confirm that inside the account. Do not take it from this paragraph as your invoice.

What to do

Write down the current plan and the next charge date. If the next bill is still on the old price, you have one cycle to decide. If you are already at R$71.90 and one person watches on a phone, step down and watch for a week. Canceling and resubscribing does not restore the May 2024 price.
